Lantern of Knowledge pupils took part in a guided, detailed tour of the Houses of Parliament, consisting of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Here, the boys were able to get a small feel to the day to day running of the country and the main chambers as to where everything happens. From the small pigeon trays, to a detailed explanation of the Queens opening of Parliament, the boys covered every aspect of British politics which takes place in Parliament.
Despite going on a Wednesday, unfortunately, Prime Ministers’ Questions were not scheduled for that week, much to the bitter disappointment of the boys.
